Requirements for Tissue Donation

Tissue Donation is allowed age from 14 to 80.

But, even though you signed up for consent of donation, there will be a medical examination and biocompatibility for eligibility to process for the safety of beneficiary and it can come out as disqualifies

Disqualification of Donation

Hepatitis B/C, AIDS, Sexual transmitting infectious disease

Degenerative neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Creutzpelt-Jacob's Disease

Unknown cause or time of death

Active herpes simplex/zoaster

Septicemia

Active bacterial or fungal meningitis, active poliomyelitis

Allograft of meninges

Injection of growth hormone (gonadotropic hormone), or immuno-regulatory

Poisoning of heavy metal, pesticide, defoliant agent, or heroin

Cancer (Except the case of cancer without risk of metastasis such as 'Basal Cell Carcinoma’, ‘Cervical Carcinoma in situ’ and 'Primary non metastasizing Tumors of the central nervous system’)

Registration of Human Tissue for Safety and Management No.9 (Prohibited Tissue division & transplant
